NEW NEWS ABOUT ICELAND GEO - EVENT Now in 2015 Instead of the 4th Global Geotourism Conference, THE ProGEO Meeting in Iceland will be held. ProGEO Meeting Iceland 8–12 September 2015 The next ProGEO symposium will take place on Iceland next year, 2015, and will also host a General Assembly. Dear Friends

This week after just having spent considerable time promoting The Fourth Global Geotourism  scheduled to be held in Iceland in  August, it is with great regret that I have to inform you that the Conference will not now go ahead as scheduled.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have been advised today by the organising body, the Reykjanes Marketing Office, South West Iceland, that they propose that the conference be postponed until 2014.

As Advisor to the Conference I have to abide by their wishes so it is with much regret that I bring this news.

Once the dust settles I will advise further about the future of the Conference.
